Description
This course is the basis from which the student starts to learn the science of accounting. The course deals with an introduction to the science of accounting and its importance, basic accounting concepts, assumptions, accounting principles, budget equation, how to record accounting entries according to the double-entry theory, and knowledge of the process of balance and posting of accounts. The course also deals with the steps of preparing The financial statements in terms of identifying, measuring and presenting the basic elements of the financial statements.
