Description


the student to understand antimicrobial agents, clinical microbiology and parasitology. This course provides an overview of, different methods of classification of antimicrobial agents, their mode of action, mechanism of resistance and different methods of antibiotic assay as well. Finally, characteristic features of etiological agent(s), mode of transmission, virulence factors, pathogenesis, laboratory diagnosis, prevention and control of the most important, medically infectious diseases.
