| The research aimed to determine the role of human resource
management practices in improving the performance of employees in the Sugar Group of Companies. The researcher used the descriptive approach in the study, relying on a questionnaire to collect data. A questionnaire was distributed to employees in the company under stady, totaling (68) questionnaires, of which (51) were valid for analysis. The data were analyzed using the statistical analysis program (SPSS), and one of the most important results of the research was the presence of a statistically significant effect of human resource management practices represented by (planning, recruitment, selection and appointment, training, performance evaluation), in improving the performance of employees in the Sugar Group of Companies. Human resources management practices in the company under stady also contribute to increasing investment in the human element, through the skills and competencies it possesses that enable it to adept to the function changes occurring, whether internal or the overall performance level of the company under study.
