If add and drop period passed in a regular semester and a student had not registered in that semester or deferred admission, he/she is considered to have a discontinuation of study. Discontinuation period is considered a part of the maximum period allowed for the major study.

A student’s file is closed and his/her admission is ceased in the following cases.

§  If he/she did not register for any courses.

§  If he/she did not attend courses for a period exceeding three academic semesters without obtaining a written consent of a study deferral for that period.
