Students could defer their studies at YPU at least one semester following their matriculation for a period of four successive or alternate semesters.

Deferral period is not considered within the overall period specified according to the Ministry of Higher Education regulations for obtaining the degree.

Students must apply for admission deferral prior to the beginning of the academic semester that they wish to defer. A special fee needs to be paid as well.
