Yarmouk Private University is a private institution of higher education

with bylaws and curricula accredited and authenticated by the Ministry of Higher Education in the Syrian Arab Republic.

This also applies to documents and graduation certificates issued to students by the university. Furthermore, Yarmouk Private University fulfills all accreditation conditions set forth by the Ministry of Higher Education decree no. 31 dated November 29, 2007, which provides the university with a current local accreditation.

With regard to foreign accreditation, Yarmouk Private University is currently maintaining cooperation agreements with highly distinguished and reputable foreign universities. YPU is planning to sign additional agreements for student, faculty and expertise exchange, and to fulfill the conditions of quality assurance in higher education. The university will also provide its graduates with opportunities to continue their graduate education at these universities. YPU is keen on obtaining foreign accreditation by leading accreditation bodies.
